Permanent Lip Color

How Permanent Lip Liner and Lip Color Can Help You

Our lips are one of the most noticeable features of our face. They help show emotions and for some people they even determine a person’s attractiveness. Permanent lip liner and color can improve the appearance of lips for both women and men. It can add definition and fullness and restore color to pale lips without undergoing surgery or fillers. Permanent lip liner eliminates the daily use of pencils to outline, fill-in, and can decrease the need to reapply lipstick or lip gloss. The lip procedure helps correct and balance the symmetry of lips that are uneven, very thin, or scarred. It can also enhance the natural color and shape for those that would just like to restore a youthful lip.

Please bring all lip colors and or glosses used to appointment for color matching. If you have any history of cold sores it is recommended that you take an anti-viral medication. Stop taking any blood-thinning products 7 days before appointment (e.g. aspirin, alcohol, fish oils) unless prescribed by your physician. All waxing, threading, Electrolysis or laser hair removal should be completed 5 to 7 days before procedure. Following your procedure the lips will be temporarily swollen, tender, and may have some minor bruising in some places that will go away in a few days. Your lip color will definitely appear much brighter and darker immediately following procedure. Color will lift and soften within 3 to 6 days after procedure. Throughout the process of healing the lips will need to be consistently moisturized with an ointment at all times for optimum color and healing results. The color will continue to soften and mature over the next 4-6 weeks.
