Pre-Procedure Instructions

  1. Use mild soap (for your skin type) and non-oily moisturizer for several days prior to your procedure.  Allow two hours for your makeup procedure. Take your normal medications as needed. Eat well and drink plenty of water before your procedure.
  2. RETIN-A and facial peels or any exfoliating products should NOT be used two weeks prior procedure.
  3. If having eyeliner procedure, it is advised to have someone available to drive you home if needed.
  4. It is recommended that you DO NOT have Lash Extensions at time of eyeliner application.
  5. You can wear soft contact lenses but not hard contact lenses and they will need to be removed prior to eyeliner application. It is recommended that you bring additional glasses for seeing up close and or sun exposure following procedure.
  6. Do not tweeze, wax, or have electrolysis or get sunburned for one week prior to treatment.
  7. “If there is any chance you might be pregnant or you are on blood thinners, the following should NOT be taken for two weeks prior to treatment: Natural supplements that act as “blood thinners”, such as Fish Oils, Vitamin E, and Ginseng.
  8. Do not use aspirin or ibuprofen for two weeks prior to treatment.  Use of Tylenol if you need any pain relief.
  9. You can take Vitamin C and calcium prior to your appointment to help healing but NOT Vitamin E.
  10. If you are a Lip client with Mitral Valve Prolapse you MUST obtain a prescription for prophylactic antibiotics.
  11. If you have had fever blisters in the past, you MUST have a prescription for Valtrex or Zovirax prior to treatment.
  12. DO NOT take any painkillers or tranquilizers prior to treatment. YOU cannot take Benadryl and drive yourself.
